The Mythbinder demo is live on itch.io. It is a roguelike auto-battler card game where any minion can be combined with any other. Summon mythic creatures, bind them together, and build a team strong enough to survive the pilgrimage to the Lost City.
Gaze Into the Fire to Recall the Old Tales
Your people still carry the ancient stories told around campfires. Channel those legends to summon powerful minions, each with its own type, role, and strange place in the world.
Wyrms lean on strength and endurance, from tunneling sand beasts to winged serpents that darken the sky. Fae are mysterious keepers of the natural world, calling on elemental Sprites to burn, freeze, and crush their enemies.
Amalgamy: Combine Any Two Minions
Mythbinder is built around Amalgamy, the art of binding two minions into one Amalgam. Every minion can combine with every other minion, and Amalgams can be bound again and again to create new synergies.
Each binding carries both opportunity and cost. Sometimes the right move is a wide team of minions that support each other; sometimes it is one impossible hybrid that can carry the run.
A Journey to the Lost City
Plan your path through unique chapters filled with monsters, treasure, prayer shrines, sacrificial altars, pools of power, and other encounters. Artifacts can give a small boost, unlock a new strategy, or completely reshape a run.
A World Shrouded in Fog
Along the way, you will find letters left behind by previous travelers. Piece together what they knew about the Amalgamists, your people, and the history of the desolate world around you.
The demo includes more than 50 unique Minion cards, additional Spell cards, more than 40 Artifacts, unlimited Amalgams, three chapters, and endless mode.
