We do not currently collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, account username, billing address, or payment card. We may collect technical and usage analytics such as page views, outbound link clicks, app or browser version, device type, operating system, performance information, crash or error information, and general usage counts.

Amalgamist does not currently collect sensitive personal data, precise location, contacts, photos, camera input, microphone input, health data, payment card details, or user-generated content.
Analytics
Analytics are used to improve Amalgamist, fix problems, understand which platforms players use, and learn which website links are useful. Website analytics are provided through Microsoft Application Insights. Analytics are intended to be used in anonymous or aggregated form, and we do not use analytics to identify individual players or website visitors.
How We Use Information
We use analytics and technical information to operate the app and website, diagnose crashes or errors, measure performance, understand which platforms and links are useful, improve gameplay and presentation, prevent abuse, and maintain basic business and security records.
Cookies And Similar Technology

How We Share Information
We may share analytics or technical information with service providers who help us run the website, understand usage, host services, or troubleshoot problems. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of players or Virtual Maker, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Distribution And Community Platforms
If you get Amalgamist through Steam, TestFlight, the App Store, Google Play, itch.io, or join the Discord, those services may process information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card details from store platforms and we do not control the data practices of those third-party services.
Children
Amalgamist does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Retention And Security
We keep analytics information only as long as needed for troubleshooting, improvement, security, and ordinary business records. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we process, but no internet or software service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
